 My wife Lois
and I first came to Atlin in 1989 to visit our son, who lived and worked
here. We had heard about Atlin long before our son moved to this remote
area of British Columbia. When we came, we quickly understood why so many
people, including our son, were enchanted by this truly supernatural place.
For the next four years we came to Atlin for summer vacations and we moved
here in 1994 when we had an opportunity to purchase a small business.
Knowing the need for a professional licensed realtor to service Atlin and area, I took the required courses, passed the required exams to first receive the Real Estate Sales license, then the Property Manager's license and finally the Real Estate Agent's license. The agent's license permitted me to open a real estate sales office in 1996 and to actively list, sell and manage properties anywhere in BC, of course practicalities limit my operating area to the Atlin District.

Atlin is a wonderful
place and it gives me great satisfaction to help other Atlin fans to find
homes, summer cottages or just a bit of land to enjoy this place on a more
than casual basis. How much there is to enjoy. A look out my windows confirms
that my wife and I made the right choice to move here: I'm looking at the
largest natural lake in BC with two beautiful mountains as backdrops. The
air is not polluted and the water is clean. About 500 people inhabit this
huge part of British Columbia.
